I want to send out a huge “Thank You” to the parents for using “Hurricane Watch” to notify the Coaches whether your swimmer(s) will participate in the upcoming meet or not.

And an even bigger “Thank You” to all the parents who get their swimmer(s) to their Age Group tent at the “Check In” time.

Today was my first time to make any final adjustments to the relays before the meet.  If your swimmer(s) is not at the Age Group tent by the Check In time, the Coach doesn’t know if your swimmer(s) is going to swim in today’s meet.  Many times, if a swimmer is late or does not show up, 3-4 relays can be affected, and sometimes a relay will have to be “Scratched”.  Now multiply this for each Age Group, boys and girls.  Tent Parents are trying to mark up arms and Coaches are trying to get the swimmers in the pool for warm-up!

Once the relay changes have been made, they have to go to the computer group.  These changes have to be entered into the computer and then heat sheets have to be printed.

Please make every attempt to have your swimmer(s) in the Age Group tent at Check In time.  When your swimmer(s) is late, it affects so many people.

Again, a huge “Thanks” to all the parents for getting your swimmer(s) to their Age Group Age Group tent by the Check-In time.  It is very much appreciated!!
