The Hurricanes Swim Club has been a part of the Milwood neighborhood since 1983 when the team was founded at the Hunters Chase pool.  The Hurricanes moved to the Rattan Creek pool in 1987.  The Hurricanes are part of the Northwest Swim Circuit which is made up of 12 competitive swimming teams from Steiner Ranch to Georgetown.  Over 200 girls and boys from the ages of 4 to 17 practice daily in the Rattan Creek pool starting in early May and continuing through early July.  Competitive swim meets are held weekly on Saturday mornings at the Rattan Creek pool and other Northwest Swim Circuit team pools.  The Hurricanes invite swimmers and their families to explore this website and find out more about this exciting sport.
